With continued use, most table leaf extensions of sewing machine cabinets tend to sag because they are unable to support the excessive weight of objects such as fabric bundles, sewing kits, or other items. The sagging can cause structural damage to the cabinet and hinges, and be dangerous as well.
The attractive Support Brace takes little space, but is custom designed to provide a strong and secure base under the leaf. This protects cabinet from future damage, and allows you to pile on heavier objects safely so you can get more use from your machine.
